La Befana con i capelli grigi
Brutta ma brava
La Befana vecchia
Due canzoni di Natale
Santo Natal (to the tune of Silent Night)
Santo Natal
Notte d'amor
Tutto tace il ciel d'or
Gia` distende la luna il suo vel
Gloria cantano gli angeli in ciel,
Nella misera grotta
Nasce il bambino Gesu`
Tu scendi dalle stelle
Tu scendi dalle stelle
O re del cielo
E vien in una grotta
Al freddo al gelo
E vieni in una grotta
Al freddo e al gelo
O bambino mio Divino
Io ti vedo qui a tremar
O Dio beato ah! quanto ti costo`
L'aver mi amato
Ah! quanto ti costo`
L'aver mi amato

Natale - Com'e` la tua Befana?
It's just over three weeks till Christmas and at Christ the King School we are in the swing of learning some Christmas carols in Italian and bringing out again La Befana e le calze. (La Befana dolls and stockings)
In classes we have been designing our own versions of La Befana and then doing some oral activities describing her. This has encouraged a lot of talking and communicating in Italian and writing some simple sentences to describe our favorite Italian Christmas character.
I hope the children will enjoy seeing their Befanas posted and reading the descriptions of
Com'e` la tua Befana? What is your Befana like?
